Saniya Setia, DDS

Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania

Saniya Setia, DDS, is a native of Chandigarh, India. She graduated with a gold medal and high honors from her BDS program. After being the only student in India to be awarded an International Certificate of Merit for her contributions to dental literature, academics and community service in 2013, she moved to the United States to further her education and training.

She completed her DDS at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine and, in recognition of her academic achievement, was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. She has been recognized with various awards in fixed prosthodontics and esthetic dentistry, and that remains her passion.

Saniya’s strong belief in philanthropy led her to serve in public health and care for the underprivileged. She became one of the youngest recipients of an honorary fellowship in the Pierre Fauchard Academy for her contributions. After working in public health, she worked in a private family and cosmetic dental practice in Atlanta for years before moving to Pennsylvania, where she is currently practicing. She generously donates her time to organized dentistry and currently serves in various leadership roles with the Pennsylvania Dental Association and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
She was recently awarded the esteemed ADA 10 under 10 and PDA 10 under 10 award along with the incisal edge 40 under 40 earlier this year.

Apart from dentistry, Setia enjoys hiking, golfing and traveling. She loves to paint and has donated her paintings to raise funds for various organizations such as UNICEF and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
