Luana Oliveira-Haas, DDS, MS, PhD

Parkland, Florida

Luana Oliveira-Haas, DDS, MS, PhD, DMD, is acknowledged for her expertise and training in the areas of esthetic dentistry, evidence-based dentistry and research. Oliveira-Haas received her DDS from Federal University of Uberlandia, Brazil, in 1995. She also received a certificate in advanced studies in esthetic dentistry at Sao Paulo State University, Brazil, and, the following year, she completed a specialty program in operative dentistry at Federal University of Uberlandia. Oliveira-Haas also completed a master’s degree and PhD in operative dentistry at Sao Paulo State University in 2004. Shortly thereafter, she relocated to the United States, where she has been a full-time faculty member at Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for 12 years. During this time, she also served as the postgraduate operative program director for six years. In 2018, Oliveira-Haas joined the Adult Restorative Dentistry Department at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry, Lincoln, Nebraska. She is currently a second-year resident at the University of Florida’s advanced education in general dentistry residency program.
