Dr. Eric Hu is a diplomate of American Board of Prosthodontics and fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists. He is an assistant professor at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences (USUHS) Postgraduate Dental College and is currently teaching as a residency mentor at the two-year Fort Cavazos Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD-2) Program, the largest degree-conferring AEGD program in the nation. Hu earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, in 2015. Upon graduation, he entered the U.S. Army Dental Corps and was selected to attend the one-year AEGD program at Fort Moore, Georgia. In 2019, he received his graduate certificate in prosthodontics from the Naval Postgraduate Dental School and Master of Science in oral biology from USUHS in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Hu was the 2020 winner of the U.S. Army Institute of Surgical Research Joseph L. Bernier Research Competition and a finalist in the 2019 ACP John J. Sharry Research Competition. He has presented at multiple national and international healthcare conferences and has published in peer-reviewed journals.
