Utilizing warm restorative composite resin to bond indirect restorations has been increasing in popularity in recent years — due in part to its promotion by high-profile biomimetic dentists. Still, many dentists are hesitant to adopt this technique due to concerns such as high viscosity of the material and ability to photopolymerize through restorations. This presentation will utilize current available evidence to evaluate the legitimacy of these concerns as well as discuss materials selection, step-by-step technique and clinical case examples.
