Third-molar extractions can be more predictable and less stressful by mastering a variety of fundamental principles and techniques. This course will address several topics related to third-molar extractions that are designed to improve the dentist’s case selection criteria, instrumentation, recognition and management of surgical complications, and surgical techniques.
Learning Objectives:
Learn the etiology of and pathologies associated with impacted third molars, as well as how to properly diagnose and treatment-plan for their surgical removal.
Learn helpful techniques while performing surgical extraction of third molars.
Review how to recognize and manage dental surgical complications.
